Apollo is a player only

Apollo is a media player developed by CowboyApps. It does not provide, host, sell or include any channels, movies, series or other content. To use Apollo you must supply your own playlist or login from a service you are legally authorised to use. You are solely responsible for the content you access.

What we collect

Nothing. Apollo has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising. We do not collect, store or share personal data on our servers.

Data stored on your device

The playlist details you enter (server address, username and password), favorites, watch history, reminders, recordings and settings are stored only on your device. You can delete them at any time by removing a playlist, signing out or uninstalling the app. Backup files you create are saved only where you choose.

Network connections

Apollo connects directly from your device to the service you configure to load playlists, guide data and video. The optional speed test downloads test data from a public speed-test server (Cloudflare) and from your configured service. Update checks are handled by Google Play or the App Store.

Purchases

Optional Premium subscriptions are purchased through Google Play or the App Store and processed by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-generated ID and your purchase receipt to confirm your subscription. Payment details are handled by the store and are never seen by Apollo.

Children

Apollo is not directed at children under 13. Parental controls let you lock categories behind a PIN.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
